We also add the Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty to out Open Water classes, to help make sure you have the most important skill for safe diving mastered great buoyancy. After the completion of both parts you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver and a PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver. This beginning certification is recognized around the world.
The pool and classroom sessions are split up between three evenings of book work and two evenings practicing skills in the pool. We limit our classes to four students so we can give you all the personal attention you need. There are five chapters and five knowledge reviews in the PADI open water book that you will need to complete at home before class, then we go over the knowledge reviews during our classroom sessions and answer any questions that you may have. During the pool sessions we teach you the basic skills you need to safely enjoy you new lifestyle as a Scuba diver. During the four Open Water dives you will demonstrate the skills you have learned in the pool to your instructor in open water normally in lake Coeur D' Alene. We do require that you supply your own mask and snorkel for class but we will supply everything else you will need.
